What is Torah and how does it still apply to our lives today? Simply put, Torah is the original Word of HaShem as given to the Prophet Moshe at Mt. Sinai; most often referred to as the Law of Moshe and collectively the First Five Books of the Bible. Torah is full of, contrary to popular belief, the blessings of HaShem and the promises of life abundantly. The Torah points us all toward the presence of HaShem, which can be found in the person of Y'shua HaMashiach. While most see only the prohibitions found in Torah, the truth is within the boundary lines given to us throughout Scripture, we find the love, grace, mercy, and compassion of Y-H-V-H toward HIS people.
